Eastern Washington University
Eastern Washington University offers students Washington state's best value in higher education. Students can take advantage of the lowest tuition of any four-year public university in the state, yet they have unparalleled opportunity to research alongside their professors. A recent survey showed that 89 percent of students were employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. We're located in Cheney, WA, a cozy college town, but we're just 20 minutes from Spokane, the state's second largest city and a major source of internships and career opportunities for our students. There's a reason Eastern's EPIC Adventures program is one of the most popular and well-run outdoor adventure programs in the country: we're right in the middle of the country's best adventure. Every weekend students rock climb, ice climb, canoe, kayak, raft, cycle, mountain bike, hike, backpack, camp, swim, ski, mountaineer and more. If it's adventure, and if it's outdoors, you can do it near EWU.
