Valley City State University

Founded in 1890 as a teachers college in the southeastern North Dakota town of Valley City, Valley City State University has built on that rich tradition with a student-focused, learning-centered approach, offering more than 80 degree programs and enabling its students to thrive in a personable, accessible and affordable environment. Its small, beautiful campus provides students with plentiful opportunities for close connections with fellow students, faculty and staff, and for participation in a complete range of student activities and NAIA athletic programs. One of the first "laptop universities" in the nation, VCSU continues its innovative use of technology with many online offerings, including several undergraduate majors, along with master of education and master of teaching programs. VCSU alumni are proud of their alma mater and carry forward the university's heritage through success in their postgraduate endeavors. All of VCSU's programs accept WUE students.
