Colorado Mountain College
Colorado Mountain College is Colorado's first Dual Mission institution offering bachelors and two-year degrees in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Learning outside the classroom is as big as the outdoors. Students sample water, photograph world-class landscapes, learn the ski and resort business, cook in four-diamond restaurants, and sharpen leadership skills in the wilderness. Small class sizes and friendly, distinctive faculty create supportive and inspired learning opportunities. Academically, students are well prepared. Colorado Mountain College was recently among 150 community colleges nominated for the prestigious Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, putting CMC in the top 13% of colleges in the US! Graduates earn highest honors at major universities, receive Fulbrights and pursue doctorates in astrophysics, DNA sequencing, international relations, medicine, law and more. Three campuses offer residence halls and other services for a full on-campus living experience.
