University of Arizona
The University of Arizona (UA) is the state's land-grant university and is a member of the AAU. It is an R1 (Highest Research University) with two medical schools, a School of Veterinary Medicine, and is in the NSF’s top 50 for research funding. The UA has just over 40,400 undergraduate students and 10,727 Graduate and Professional students. The Graduate College offers more than 100 doctoral programs, 150 master’s programs, and 60 graduate certificate programs available to choose from. including over 20 special Graduate Interdisciplinary Programs (GIDPs).
