High School Graduate Projections by Total Number

The total number of high school graduates is expected to peak in 2025 before entering a period of steady decline that is attributable to fewer births 18 years prior. There is considerable variation in this trend across the states.

How to Use this Data Visualization

This dashboard displays the change in the number of high school graduates through the years of the Knocking projects.

• Use the icons to navigate the dashboard, and use the filters to adjust the years displayed and school type.
• Select a state on the circle map to highlight the state on the bar chart, and add a trend line on the line chart at the bottom of the page.
• Hover over charts to see additional detail (best viewed on a tablet or desktop)
