Colleague’s Choice Innovation Award

The Western Academic Leadership Forum invites nominations for the Colleagues’ Choice Innovation Award, celebrating innovative achievements in advancing educational access for student success. This award aims to highlight the exceptional efforts of Forum members who have innovatively addressed critical educational challenges, fostering a more inclusive and effective higher education environment.

Nominations are due by December 16, 2024. Winner will be notified by January 23rd, 2025. 

NOMINATION FORM

Purpose

The Colleagues’ Choice Innovation Award recognizes projects that have demonstrated significant positive impacts in addressing educational needs and promoting educational access. This is an opportunity to showcase transformative work that aligns with the 2025 annual meeting theme, Partnerships: Stronger Together.

Award Recognition:

  • Recognition at the WICHE Annual Meeting including an invitation to speak and recognition in the printed program (registration and travel expenses up to $1,500 covered)
  • A written press release in the WICHE newsletter
  • Highlighted on the WICHE website
  • Invited to participate in a future panel webinar

Timeline

  • Call for Nominations: November 18, 2024
  • Nominations Due: December 16, 2024
  • Winner Notified: January 23, 2025
  • Confirm winner’s attendance to the Annual Meeting: March 3, 2025
  • Academic Partnerships Annual Meeting: April 23-25, 2025 in Reno, NV
