About the Center
Representing a core staff of social scientists in sociology, psychology, social work, geography, economics, biostatistics, public health, family medicine and nursing, the Center for Rural Mental Health Research operates as an autonomously organized center in the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). To help us formulate our research agenda and effectively disseminate our findings, the Center has engaged principals from leading rural constituency groups across the country.
