NANSLO Network Scheduling System

All institutions using NANSLO lab activities have access to the NANSLO Scheduling System -- http://scheduler.nanslo.org.  This centralized system allows institutions from across the country and the world to easily deliver NANSLO lab activities to students.  The scheduling system has the following features:

  1. Faculty reserve a block of time (dates and times) for students to perform a NANSLO lab activity.

  2. Students schedule an appointment within the specified block of time reserved and can reschedule that appointment, if needed. 

  3. Email notifications are automatically sent out to faculty and students.

  4. Reports are available to faculty and institutions on NANSLO lab activity.

  5. A billing system will soon be in place that automates the billing process.

  6. Faculty, students and institutions all have access to customized dashboards.

Node Scheduling System

The Node Scheduling System is Integrated into the NANSLO Network Scheduling System.  This scheduling system:

  1. Provides an authentication process for students logging into the NANSLO Node.

  2. Allows students to access the lab activity on the date and time of their scheduled appointment.

  3. Captures information about the student's lab activity such as time in and time out of the lab, the date, and lab tech comments.

  4. Sends information to the NANSLO Network Scheduling System for compilation in that system's reporting feature.
