Next Generation Learning Challenges
Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) is a collaborative, multi-year initiative focused on identifying and scaling technology-enabled approaches to dramatically improve college readiness and completion, especially for low-income young adults. NGLC provides grants, gathers evidence about effective practices, and works to develop a community dedicated to these persistent challenges. NANSLO was one of 29 projects funded in the first wave in April 2011.
NGLC worked with SRI International to evaluate all NGLC Wave 1 grant projects. The purpose of this external evaluation was to assist grantees and NGLC in documenting effective and scalable practices. SRI International is an independent, nonprofit research institute conducting client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, commercial businesses, foundations, and other organizations.
