Dr. Dennis Murray (Denny) is Professor of Psychology and Interim Department Chair at Mansfield University. He has a B.A. in Psychology from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester. He served as Mansfield University's Interim Provost and Interim Associate Provost during the 2000-2001 academic year.

Denny founded the Rural Services Institute at Mansfield University. He has published extensively on rural mental health and has co-edited three books in that area. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Laurel Health System, works on initiatives of the Tioga County Partnership for Community Health and recently completed 15 years as Vice Chair of the Board of the Center for Rural Pennsylvania. He is a past President of the National Association for Rural Mental Health. At Mansfield he taught for over 20 years in the master's degree program that prepared psychologists to work in rural communities. Currently he teaches courses in counseling, leadership, and death and dying, conducts research in the area of leadership identity and development, and is chairing a local county-wide planning effort to improve mental health services.

This web cast was produced to meet a range of continuing education needs for professional and allied mental health staff currently working in rural and frontier areas.

There will be no cost to the training consumer for viewing the web cast asynchronously and minimal costs for those wishing to obtain CD formats.

Costs are $10.00 per CD.

Each additional web cast (on same CD) - $8.00
All 9 web casts - $60.00 (to be sent out after the last web cast)
