Jeanne Obert is a founder and the Executive Director of Matrix Institute, an outpatient treatment center in the greater Los Angeles area with five sites. She is also the Director of Outpatient Services for the Matrix/UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs.

Jeanne is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor, a Motivational Interviewing Trainer trained by Bill Miller, and a consultant for the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Center on Substance Abuse Treatment. She served as an Expert Trainer on a Motivational Enhancement study led by Yale University as part of the NIDA Community Trials Network (CTN) and  has worked with UCLA researchers to disseminate evidence-based treatments (including the Matrix Model) nationally and internationally.

This web cast is produced to meet a range of continuing education needs for professional and allied mental health staff currently working in rural and frontier areas.

Participation will qualify for the provision of CME and CEU hours and will be archived on the WICHE web site enabling those unable to view the live broadcast to view the training session at any time afterward.

There will be no cost to the training consumer for viewing the web cast live or asynchronously, and minimal costs for those wishing to obtain CD formats.

For those wishing to obtain CD formats of the Grand Rounds series, costs are as follows:
1 web cast (per CD) - $10.00
each additional web cast (on same CD) - $8.00
all 9 web casts - $60.00 (to be sent out after the last web cast)
