INITIATIVES FOR
STUDENTS
WICHE offers a number of initiatives that help the West’s students–– undergraduates, graduates, and professional-degree seekers––to get access to the educational programs they need in states across the West. WICHE also assists students and their families by cutting the cost of an out-of-state education: in 2006-07, students enrolling in one WICHE program saved over $131 million in tuition. In addition, new online initiatives give students anytime/anywhere educational options for postgraduate work.
